Our History
South Sudan General Students Union in Egypt (SSGSUE) was officially established in Egypt in 2012 and is recognized as the official student representative body by the Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan in Egypt. The union was established to support South Sudanese students wishing to pursue education in Egyptian universities
Officially established in 2012 under the recognition of the South Sudan Embassy in Egypt.
Reinstated by the Embassy in 2025 under new leadership led by Mr.Dut James Garang
Continuous dedicated support and advocacy, representing more than 5,000 South Sudanese students in Egypt
